I absolutely LOVE California, not a day goes by that I don’t miss living there. That said, I would not trade a single day spent with my son here in Utah for all the palm trees, sun, sand, warm weather and Miguels Jr. Garbage Burritos that Cali has to offer. So I was more than happy to travel back to shoot a wonderful wedding in San Bernardino. The best part was the couple were so much fun to hang with, and made the day an absolute joy. I have to give special thanks to my associate photographer Michele Menier. She shot the couples engagement photos for me and shot the wedding with me. The wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful, Rachel was a stunning, beautiful bride, and Dan was the perfect handsome and slightly nervous groom. They made an absolutely wonderful couple and are a perfect match for each other. They are both peace officers, and met through their work. The reception after was filled with their family and friends (most of whom are also either peace officers or military) and if you have ever had the opportunity to party with a bunch of cops, it can be a VERY good time.

Congratulations to Dan and Rachel, and I hope you both have a happy life together. Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us, and allowing us to preserve your memories of your special for you.

Ok, so I am not very good at this blogging thing, I have been incredibly busy, and seem to put this at the bottom of the pile of to do.  I am going to make a resolve to do a better job of blogging regularly and posting new photos.

One of the thing which has kept me busy is my new book.  I recently moved back to Utah after living in Southern California for the last few years.  When I returned home I noticed how much had changed in my little home town of Plain City Utah.  I felt impressed to record the town as I rembered it before things changed forever.  I began sharing some of my photos on Facebook, and was encouraged to make a book.  After a bit of work, I found a publisher, and before I knew it I had published my first book.  You can take a look at it, and if you like, feel free to order a copy.
